Pine Castle Christian Academy Reviews

I have been attending PCCA ever since preschool. I have to say that it isn't a really good school. The tuition is way too much for a small school like that. There is a lack of discipline and respect. Bullying is a constant problem at this school and no one ever does anything about it. PCCA has really disappointed me greatly. A lot of students are leaving this school and I know that a lot of people will be leaving the next school year. i don't know if I will be staying any longer.

At Pine Castle Christian Academy there is a complete lack of discipline and respect for faculty and other students. While I have had some great experiences athletically while at the school, they were not worth putting up with the constant chaos, disrespect, and bullying that constantly takes place and is never addressed. The school has a lot of problems in general and has a long way to go before I would ever recommend that a parent send their child there. My decision to attend was my own and I now regret asking my parents to send me there.

i am in six grade and this is a gret school!

I found at Pine Castle Christian School that the lack of discipline is overwhelming. Problems are not handled in the proper manner and you get a lot of lip service. The same children continue to get away with very bad behavior and are not help accountable. We thought that our children were in a Christian school and things would be handled in a Christian manner and that is not so. The parent involvement is great. The teachers are wonderful but their hands are tied when it comes to matters of discipline. The level of education is average but not up to public school standards.

I have four children who have each attended Pine Castle Christian Academy since they were in pre-school. The best thing about our school is the community...students, teachers, administration, and parents. We are like a big extended family. The teachers and administrators go to great lengths to get to know the families and get them involved. This makes for a great environment for the students to learn because they know how much they are loved and cared for. Pine Castle Christian Academy is equipping students of today to be leaders...in their homes, churches and communities! Go Eagles!

It is a very nurturning environment. A good music program, limited art program and a very good sports program.

My child found the small classes and compassionate teachers encouraging. The environment was nurturing and the fellow students welcoming and warm. The principal is is intellectually curious and focused on scholarship, setting high standards for educators. The campus is beautiful and new.

I homeschooled my children for many years. When I was ready for them to go to formal school, I chose Pine Castle Christian for its excellent reputation in our community. Their experience there has been very positive. The teachers are very caring. If one of my children needs extra help or work with something, they hold help classes and let me know that he needs to stay after school for help. Being athletic, my children have been involved with the sports program there. The atheltic program has grown by leaps and bounds, as had the music and drama programs. The families involved at PCCA are wonderful and supportive. The administration is always looking for way to improve and making positive changes when it is necessary. PCCA has a very homey feel to it. The teachers make it feel like an extension of our family and keep us informed.

Pine Castle Christian is a school with high parent involvement--they have to turn away parents from chaperoning field trips, for instance--with a good non-denominational Christian environment although it is run by the Methodist church. Graduates go on to many highly rated colleges, including Ivy league. Extracurriculars are more plentiful than most private schools, including a band and football starting in 2005-06. My student is in preschool currently with a first year teacher. I had hoped for a bit more discipline from this teacher, however my son's behavior has still matured nonetheless in this year. She does have an issue with spelling problems in paperwork that goes home, but from preschool that is really not an issue. I would have a really hard time with that if this were a higher grade.

Excellent school. We are very happy with it and we are confident we made the right decision enrolling our kids in it.
