The Geneva School Reviews

My child has been bored to the point of losing acacemic interest. The sports program is embarassing. The spiritual atmosphere is comparable to any public school. You are getting much less then you are paying for.

The Geneva School has prepared my children to meet the world head-on with the tools to succeed in college and beyond.

I have a child in 3rd, 8th and 11th grades. I love the integrated approach to learning that ties history, science, literature, music and the arts together. The teachers are knowlegable and passionate about the subject they teach and they demonstrate a personal concern for their students. The class sizes are small and discussion is encouraged. I feel that my 11 grader is fully prepared acedemically for any college and is also solid in her Christian worldview.

The Geneva School has blessed our family in many ways. We've been here 4 years and will continue until our youngest child graduates in 2014! We love it!!

Top-quality faculty, outstanding academics, competitive athletic programs, nurturing environment, excellent college prep experience. We've had a great experience at Geneva!

We have been at The Geneva School 5 years and love the teachers and staff. They have a passion for God and for the children they teach. The classical approach to learning is unique and inspiring.

The academics were marginal , how ever extremely boring. The music and art program was o.k. The sports program was a zero on a ten point scale. The administration seemed to be seriously lacking in effective leadership skills. The aloof attitudes of the administration seemed to be passing down to the teachers and consequently having a negative affect on the students. I would never recommend this school to any parent who desires their children to have a happy, well balanced, spiritual experience in their education. I am so relieved to have my chilren out of there!

I have been at The Geneva School for a year and am very pleased. The staff continues to impress me with their academic excellence and concern for the students. They are responsive and willing to address the unique needs of each student. I love their 'co-ciricullar' activities -- ranging from sports, to drama, to art and music. Although this is a small school, it strives to offer a variety of experiences to the students. Having left another local private school that was growing and put academics on a backburner, the Geneva School is a true blessing.

I must say that my experience as a parent at The Geneva School has for four years been quite the opposite of that of the last reviewer. I cannot imagine a more excellent, well-rounded education for my two students, both now in high school. The approach to learning taken by the faculty is unique in many different ways, and is the best that I have ever encountered. My children have grown as students, as Christians, and as people, and after they graduate I know they will be prepared for whatever God calls them to in life. Not only are the academics exemplary, the music and art programs are superlative, and the athletic program is steadily growing in prestige. With the new campus soon coming, The Geneva School has a bright future, and many more parents like myself will be proud to have their children graduate from this institution.

My daughter unfortunately attended this school for a year and a half. As a parent I found the teachers to be adequately degreed in their field however not well skilled at conveying the material to the students. As far as the administration and teachers mentoring biblical values, I saw minimal to none. The extra-curricular activities and sports are next to non-existent. I hope you are not deceived by their welcoming fascade and interview as I was.

I couldn't be happier with my daughter's education at the Geneva School. This school has the best in academics, music and spiritual growth. They have an extensive sports program. The school definitely caters to the high achieving child. Definitely requires a high commitment on the part of the child and parent, but the results are excellent. I would highly recommend this school.

Great academic program which combines Christian and Classical learning styles. Curriculum includes music, art, sports and other extracurricular activities. Our first-grade son enjoys this school.
