Keeth Elementary School Reviews

Love my daughter's 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Thomas. We will truly miss her next year when our child moves up to 2nd grade. I work full time, so I haven't had a lot of interaction with the staff, but they seem nice enough. I have helped with school fund raisers and most of the parents are great to work with.

Keeth is an excellent school! First class administration and teachers. I am very satisfied with the quality of education my children have received at Keeth. The expectations are high while keeping the tradition that has made Keeth a wonderful school.

I love this school, it is the main reason why I live where I live. My daughter loves going to school at Keeth. She has had the best teachers. The school does an excellent job in keeping parents informed, udpated and involoved with the school.

I have been fairly satisfied with Keeth Elementary. This school places emphasis on reading, there is fantastic parent involvement, and a great sense of 'community' in this school. The weakness is the lack of training and knowledge of learning disabilities. It would be helpful if staff were trained in teaching children with learning disabilities.

We have been very impressed with the quality of teachers at Keeth. Both my child's kindergarten and first grade teachers really tried to make learning fun. My child has a very high level of confidence in math and reading and enjoys school. My child does complain a bit about the strictness and rules at school, but overall I think the teachers are doing what is best for the kids. They start the kids doing things the right way from the very beginning. My child loves art and P.E., including the running club. He likes music much more this year, but I think it is his least favorite Specials activity. Parent involvement seems slightly above average.

A great school. Lots of activities, safe, caring teachers. My kindergartner is learning a lot. I feel great to send my child to Keeth.

This is a quality public school, better than average parent and volunteer force...as with any public school falls somewhat short for students with special needs or different learning styles such as ADHD.

Since my daughter has attended Keeth Elementary she has brought me home only A/B's. I hope it continues throughout the year. Thanks so much Keeth Elementary for all the hard work.

An absolutely fabulous school. Caring teachers and quality education.

Well run school with a great group of teachers overall. Fantastic kindergarten team made my son's first year the best ever. Mrs. Tucker is the greatest teacher any child could ever have. Fun traditions like the Biography Brunch and Book Bowl Parade in 5th grade. Parent involvement is huge at this school. Every year we were there(8), more parent-generated activities were added. Gifted Program was challenging for my son. Keeth was a great experience for all three of my children. They were well prepared for middle school. Great web site with Accelerated Reading lists. Reading is emphasized at this school.

Keeth is a well-maintained and good quality school. The classes are large - there were 26 students in my son's class - so there is little opportunity for individualized instruction; you either get it or you don't. Also, in my son's class, candy and gum with lots of sugar and dyes were used as rewards/incentives. This is an unhealthy and unnecessary practice. My son's teacher was good about communicating with me, was compassionate and as helpful as she could be. However, my son had some learning problems and I was disappointed by the way the administration tried to 'help' him.

This is a great school. The teachers will go out of their way to accomodate your needs. They are open and available. The Parent participation is high because it is a great place to be a part of. It has an atmosphere that is condusive to growth.

Great school the kids love it and the teachers are wonderful.

The faculty at Keeth Elementary exceeds in all areas. The teachers are dedicated and committed to teach my first grader and my kindergartner. I am extremely impressed at the level my 5 year old is reading and the 1-1 attention given to both of my children. Keeth exemplifies and strives to make every child learn. The teachers are thorough in their teaching and shows a strong disciplinary code which I am completely satisfied with.
